HI This Scenario is valid especially for Dynamic Payload Type. Lets Say UA-A support Dynamic Payload 101 - Telephone-Event Clk Rate-8000(Offer) UA-B support Dynamic Payload 96 - Telephone-Event Clk Rate-8000(Answer)
Now here the attribute match. Hence after successful matching UA-A should send telephone-event on Codec No 96(from Answer) which UA-B understand , and vice versa I hope this helps Regards, Jayesh A Sangpal > Date: Mon, 11 Apr 2005 18:29:02 +0530 > From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: [Sip-implementors] RFC 3264-sec 5.1-different payload types > for same codecs > To: <[email protected]> > Message-ID: > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" > > Hi all, > An example for the below condition from RFC 3264 would be > appreciated However, for send only and sendrecv streams, the answer > might indicate different payload type numbers for the same codecs, in > which case, the offerer MUST send with the payload type numbers from > the answer. > > Thanks in advance > > ------------------------------ > _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] http://lists.cs.columbia.edu/mailman/listinfo/sip-implementors
