I'm about to start testing the SIP RFC 3261 implementation for a product that I'm working on. I used to test SS7 signaling in the past and for the most part found the SS7 test specifications (both ANSI and ITU) that matched each of the SS7 implementation documents extremelly useful. I'm wondering if there is something similar in the world of SIP. A test specification for RFC 3261 would be extremelly useful at this point.
Thanks in advance for your prompt reply.
It's not a reference implementation, but I found Nils Ohlmeier's SIP Forum Test Framework really useful: http://www.sipfoundry.org/sftf/.
