Hi ! I am very interested in the use of Diameter to retrieve media information about a SIP session. For the moment, searching on google, I can't find any hardware or software solution using this idea. This is for a study about billing with SIP... to my mind a good solution. I only find gateways using RADIUS My proxy needs exactly these kind of information, explained in INTERIM RECORD, ie:
- Sip-Input-Media-Octets - Sip-Output-Media-Octets (and also Sip-Input-Media-Packets and Sip-Output-Media-Octets but not really attractive for me, and also Accounting-Session-Time will be also a nice feature). Do you think that in a close future it will be possible to have Media Gateways having these features? what could be an actual equivalent to them?
