Hi,

When a re-INVITE arrives at a proxy, the request-uri will not indicate a domain
that the proxy is responsible for. This is because, unlike the initial INVITE, the
request-uri would contain the 'Contact:' address of the callee, not its AoR. As a result,
it will never do a lookup.

So, a proxy will not need to identify that it is a re-INVITE to avoid
forking.

Hope this helps.

Thanks and Regards,
A. N. Gautham

Hi,

If an INVITE is received at a Transaction Stateful Proxy.
How can the proxy identify this as a RE-INVITE, in order not to fork.
