I don't think there is any limit as such on how long the user name can
be. But usually the names are limited to a readable length.

Is there any limit imposed by the standards on the length of the user-name
part of SIP-URI used in Request-URI, To, From etc. ? If not, then what is
the "generally accepted" or common limit (if needed)?
Is there any document which lists the "generally accepted" / "commonly
enforced" limits on lengths etc. ?
