Hi all, I need to know if REFER method can be implemented without getting a NOFITY request. RFC 3515 tells that REFER implicitly generates a subscription.
We know that the REFER request contains a Refer_To header telling the trasfer target. The Transferee UA willing to contact this transfer target will return a 200 OK if that target is reached or a failure response if that target could not be reached. This response will be announced to the Transferer. If this is the case, what is the purpose of the NOTIFY request?
