Hi

It's actually an indication to the peer about the extensions supported
by itself. So the Peer will act accordingly.

For eg. UAC sends INVITE with Supported: 100rel, It means Reliable
provisional response is supportedby the UAC,
So now the Peer(UAS), if it supports 100rel will send 180 reliably. So
it is an indication to the Peer and the Peer will take action
accordingly.

Extensions used in Supported header can be 100rel, timer

Regards,
Sunil
