I really suggest contacting Jonathan Rosenberg (www.jdrosen.net)
regarding the ICE protocol and its progress. The ICE protocol draft is
in its fifth revision and it is glacially moving towards being moved to
RFC status. If SIP implementors really want a solution to the NAT
traversal problem standardization and common implementation must be
expidited.

If progress continues at the current snails pace we won't have a NAT
traversal standard for SIP and RTP for years to come.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] NAT support for sip

Hi

I am involved in implementing NAT support for our sip stack.
I want some info about, what are the changes to be done on the stack,
after determining the type of NAT, IP addr & port???
Any RFC or draft or any other doc's will be helpful. I got a draft
(draft-rosenberg-sipping-nat-scenarios-00.txt Expires: March 2002),
any
other recent once?? Or any other suggestions.

Thanks in advance
Regards
Jaikumar
