Hi Wu,

I guess you are thinking of partial-parse function for server, is it?

Subject: [Sip-implementors] About semantics of SIP messages

Hello,

As we know, SIP functions are completed by the exchanges of SIP messages
between UAs. For example, the server side may receive request messages and
pass the received messages to TU such as UAS through transaction layer, then
the UAS gets such request messages eventually.

My question is: The UAS who receives the SIP request messages must know the
semantic of the SIP message. That is, if I want to design and implement a
UAS, my UAS must be able to parse all SIP messages so that it will know the
semantic of the SIP messages, right?

Thanks!
Regards,
Zhenyu
