I do not believe there is a method for doing this. But is there a need to do this? Presumably the UA already knows (or can quickly obtain) the address of another server, because the first server may fail at any time... > Also how can it tell ua ,"instead of me > contact this proxy", .If this can be done this will help thin cell phone > clients to be reconfigured automatically , where it may not have full dns > look up capability . I am sure there is no SIP method for doing this, because the UA is already determining what proxy to use outside of the SIP standards (RFC 3263).
