Is there a way to differentiate between subscriptions to a single entity and subscriptions to a list? In other words, when a SUBSCRIBE arrives at a server, how can the server decide whether the target of the subscription is a single entity or a resource list?
I see that draft-ietf-simple-event-list-07 defines the "eventlist" tag, which a client can add to the "Supported" header. However, it is my understanding that a client can add this for all its SUBSCRIBE messages - if so, the "eventlist" tag cannot be used to differentiate. Thanks in advance.
