Hi all,

If the q parameter is not present in the Contact header, is the below
mentioned sequence correct.

Contact 2    -->    Contact 3    -->    Contact 4    --> Contact 5

Or is still Option 2 mentioned below the correct sequence...?? <Dale
mentioned Option 2 as the correct sequence >

Thanks,
Sunil

Subject: [Sip-implementors] Processing 3xx responses

Hey,

I am processing a 3xx response on a forking proxy.
Forking is seuqential.
Scenario is like this.

Location Search gave back 3 contacts with following Q Values.

Contact 1:    q=0.9
Contact 2:    q=0.7
Contact 3:    q=0.5

>From Contact 1, 3xx response is received with 2 contact and following Q
values.

Contact 4:    q=1.0
Contact 5:    q=0.6.

After receiving 3xx response, I now have 4 contacts to be forked to.
My question is, in which order should these contacts be forked.

Option 1:
    Contact 4    -->    Contact 2    -->    Contact 5    --> Contact 3

Options 2:
    Contact 4    -->     Contact 5    -->    Contact 2    --> Contact 3.

[ABN] option 1 would be a better option...

Regards
Ashish
