You could do that. But then the bob-mixer contact will receive calls for that AOR as well, which is probably not what you want. > It seems such new modified GRUU/Contact will not be forwareded/accepted by > the server that generated the GRUU? A GRUU will always be routed by the proxy that generates it. > It seems removing "opaque" value from GRUU should always give the AOR. No, the proxy gets to choose what the GRUU is. > Is it possible to send such REGISTER to my proxy: > > REGISTER > From: <sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Contact: > <sip:[EMAIL > PROTECTED]>;+sip.instance="<urn:uuid:f81d4fae-7dec-11d0-a765-00a0c91e6bf6>" > Contact: > <sip:[EMAIL > PROTECTED]>;+sip.instance="<urn:uuid:f81d4fae-7dec-11d0-a765-00a0c91e6bf6>" This touches on the problem of having more than one contact for a single AOR/instance-id pair. There are theological arguments whether this should be allowed or not. But everyone agrees that if such a thing is allowed, both contacts will have the same GRUU. If you want to have two contacts for a single AOR and have different GRUUs for them, they *must* have different instance-ids.
