Hi, I have a query related to the User Profile structure details given in Annexure B.1 of TS 29.228.
As per this spec it gives an impression that the each user profile is associated with a Private User Identity. Is this assumption correct??? 1. If this assumption is correct then there will be a redundancy of service profiles when a Public User Identity is associated with multiple Private User Identities since the same service profile will be stored in all the user profiles. ( Since Public User Identity is associated with only one service profile and a shared PUI can be associated with multiple Private User Identities , the same service profile needs to be replicated in all the user profiles corresponding to all the Private User Identities of a particular IMS Subscription). 2. If this assumption is wrong then it can be assumed that a user profile corresponds to a Implicit Public User Identity Set. In this case the same implicit set can be shared between multiple Private User Identities. So this contradicts with the user profile structure given in TS 29.228 ( according to the given UML diagram , it can be concluded that only one Private User Identity can be associated with a User Profile) Kindly clarify on this.
