.. and read *all* RFCs and drafts containing SIP keyword to make sure that the design can accommodate such uses. Then few grueling months after, when you finish implementing your shiny new SIP stack, be prepared to scrap it altogether and re-do everything, because now you'd know better how to design a SIP stack.
