Hi! There is a procedure given in rfc 3261 where CALL- ID along with CSeq are used to remove/modify the bindings stored in the registrar corrosponding to AOR they were binded to earlier.
I feel that is one of the major significance of these 2 parameters in REGISTER message. One can get that perticular extract from rfc 3261 in PROCESSING REGISTER RESPONSE at the registrar end.
