The client may fetch existing registration bindings by sending a REGISTER without a Contact header (see rfc3161, section 10.2.3).
Forked requests can be distinguished by their unique branch parameter in the Via header. Because of forking, the client may send one request, but receive responses from multiple recipients. Each of those responses will be distinguished (at minimum) by a unique To tag. -- Gary Cote www.awardsolutions.com _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
