UAS: can send a 487 Request Terminated to the INVITE Request, if it could not generate a final response, within the time (in seconds ) mentioned in the Expires header of the INVITE request. Proxy: can send CANCEL's out, when the Expires header value timer fires ! It is clearly mentioned in the RFC 3261, too !
