From: "Santosh Yadawad" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> When UA sends INVITE message it will query the NAT and will get the public ip-address from its private ip-address.
So what will be the contact header field in INVITE Message weather its public ip (obtained from NAT) or it's a private (local ip). If all the SIP agents it wishes to communicate with are outside the NAT, it most likely wants to use the public IP as its Contact, as that is the address that other SIP agents will use to address it. But the general case of this problem is very complicated.
