The body can contain almost any character, so CRLF is perfectly valid. The body begins after the empty line following the headers and the Content-Length is used to determine the end of the body. Many multi-part MIME bodies will contain empty lines.

Hi, is it valid to send a MESSAGE (for example) containing blank into the body? ¿and what about if the body contains CLFR chars? IMHO it could be valid and the transport layer should just read the number of chars indicated in "Content-Lenght" header, is it? Thanks a lot. -- Iñaki Baz Castillo [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
