Robert's response points to the details. But the *philosophy* is that
omitting the port is not simply leaving the port to a default value --
it causes a significant change to the lookup algorithm (RFC 3263).
E.g., if you set up DNS correctly, <sip:example.com> and
<sip:example.com:5060> can route to different hosts entirely. So the
question of whether the port must be included or not is a matter of
what sort of lookup you are directing the SIP agent to perform.
