Hi, B2BUS is glue between UAC and UAS, whereas Proxy is an SIP entity defined in 3261 along with UAC & UAS. So essentially all these are different entities having own state/call model and specification/guidelines. One broad separation point is..if ingress & outguess SIP message has same message headers (TO, From, CallID at least), then it is Proxy otherwise it is B2BUA Server. - Vipul Rastogi
