First, please don't cross post to sip-implementors and sip. Many of us 
are on both. This kind of question belongs on sip-implementors.

As others have said, you certainly may have multiple m-lines. But you 
say "i.e. for call hold", and I wonder what you have in mind. Because 
while you may have multiple m-lines, *adding* an m-line as part of doing 
a call hold may not get you what you want. How would this second line be 
used?
