Hi I have a simple question regarding the routing a messages in a SIP proxy to and from a SIP Application Server (AS).
My AS is behind a SIP proxy and the proxy (eg. openser) should route incoming SIP messages to this AS. Generally speaking, what criteria are used to route traffic in the direction AS->user to avoid it is resent to the AS ? For instance we thought about using the Server header or detecting the IP address of the AS in the via headers. Any idea or hint?
