Hi all, As per RFC 3261, the format of Display Name in the SIP URI appears as
display-name = *(token LWS)/ quoted-string quoted-string = SWS DQUOTE *(qdtext / quoted-pair ) DQUOTE qdtext = LWS / %x21 / %x23-5B / %x5D-7E / UTF8-NONASCII quoted-pair = "\" (%x00-09 / %x0B-0C / %x0E-7F) As it says that we can have a "quoted-string" in the Display Name, we can have a comma character (in the quoted-string) in the Display Name, can't we?
