Currently little discussion and motivation for SIP 3.0. The SIP list (and IETF 72 minutes) reflect some discussion concerning potential for sip-bis versus continuing with the essential correction process. > Where are we planning to address collectively > the most important aspects/issues like > Offer-answer, NAT traversal, non-INVITE Timer > issues, security recommendations etc? Those topics are spread across multiple IETF working groups like SIP, BEHAVE, and MMUSIC.
