I'm looking for information about how gateways implement PSTN features where the a transfer is achieved by releasing a call back to the PSTN, and including redirection information in the Release message? This includes Release To Pivot and Release Link Trunking. Specifically, I'd like to understand what SIP signaling gateways expect. REFER would seem the logical choice, but I've been unable to find any specific documentation about this.
