Subject: [Sip-implementors] Non-default SIP port

Hi
I just joined this mailing list so I am not sure if my following
questions have been posted.
1. is there any "danger" if a sip UA agent registers with port other
than that 5060 (default) port, for example 5062 or any other unassigned
ports?
2. In this case SIP messages for any incoming call to thsi UA will have
the UDP destination port defiend as 5062. Is this a correct
understanding?
3. General question: when a UA register, is it alwasy assumed that this
is only for VoIP?

Thanks
Gaguk
