Have been working on SBC, but haven't seen the RFC 4145 usage so far.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] SIP and BFCP

Hi All,

We are in the process of implementing BFCP for the purpose of floor
control in video presentation.
The draft that defines this is RFC 4582.

But I see that this spec requires exchange of BFCP protocol messages
over TCP.
I would like to know from anyone about what is the feasibility of this
mechanism succeeding with proxies.
If the proxy acts as a media gateway (B2BUA), what would it behave like?

Since this is modeled after RFC 4145(TCP-Based Media Transport in the
Session Description Protocol), what has been the success of endpoints to
get this kind of a SDP across the standard proxies.

This(RFC 4582) seems to be the only solution for floor control but I am
afraid it might be completely un-interoperable. At least if anyone can
comment about their success rate with RFC 4145, I'd be very happy.

-Thanks
Kamath,
