There are two possible scenarios: 1. If a line appearance is already busy and the line has only one apperance, then other users can barge-in on that line. These users already know the dialog-id and therefore can issue INVITE w/ Join. 2. A line can have multiple appearances. This is captured through the notion of an appearance number that is carried through an extension of the dialog-package.
