I think they meant "embedded" headers, not "escaped" headers.

You are correct, it should say "This INVITE is malformed, as the SIP 
Request-URI contains headers".

Anyway I don't understand the reason given by RFC 4475:

   This INVITE is malformed, as the SIP Request-URI contains escaped
   headers.

It should be:

   This INVITE is malformed, as the SIP Request-URI contains headers.

It would be easier to understand, right? Thanks a lot.
