I have a question regarding processing of an INVITE with a Request-URI in the form of a SIP URI, which was derived from a tel URI. When such an INVITE is received by a proxy responsible for the domain specified in the hostport of the Request-URI:
Is the proxy free to apply local policy in processing the message? Or, must the proxy treat this as if it had received the original tel URI, and process it as if it had received a tel URI?
