UAC --- P1 --- P2 --- UAS - UAC sends INVITE to P1. - P1 forwards to P2. - P2 replies 407. - P1 replies then 407 to UAC. - UAC re-builds the request by adding credentials (based on the Proxy- Authenticate header fields as "realm") and resends the request to P1. Just it. UAC will never know if it reecived 407 from P1 or from some other intermediary proxy behind P1. But it *doesn't matter*. -- Iñaki Baz Castillo <[email protected]> _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
