Hi Ujjwal

Direction is specified for media stream and not for any specific code used in
the stream. It can be specified at session-level before any m-line or at media
level after the corresponding m-line.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] direction attribute in SDP

Hi,

I was trying to implement the 3264 style hold, for this I have a query,
if the there are more than one codecs in one m line, is it possible to have
different direction attribute for the codecs present in that m line, if
possible how it can be indicated in the Session description, please suggest.

My assumption is that according to 4566 the first codec in the m line SHOULD
be used so the direction of the first codec will be the preferred direction,
Please suggest if i am wrong.

Thanks and Regards,
Ujjwal
