Hi All, Is the below TEL URI is a Global Number? --------- tel:3036619110;cic=+1234 --------- I mean in the absence of leading '+' and ;phone-context param , Should we consider Global CIC also?
As per the RFC 3966 ----------------- Globally unique numbers are identified by the leading "+" character(section 5.1.4) Local numbers MUST be tagged with a 'phone-context' (section 5.1.5). ----------------- and As per the RFC 4694 'Number Portability Parameters for the "tel" URI', Carrier Identification Code (CIC) is a just a TEL URI Parameter in this case "+1234" is a Global-cic. Also, having such a Tel URI in the Request-line of the INVITE results in routing the call to another carrier specified in "cic" param which is in this case "1234" Should UA considers the URI "tel:3036619110;cic=+1234" as a Global Number?
