Hello All, I have a query regarding the usage of the values under sigcomp-id SIP URI described under the RFC 5049.
Typically this is used for the Remote Application Identification, In case of Out - Going Requests, then the RFC Says, the Remote Application Identification must be of the Remote URI to which the message will be sent. At the time of sending a Request , lets say A REGISTER or an INVITE , only information the stack knows is about the Registrar address(in case of REGISTER) or the End Point URI in case of INVITE. How should we update the SigComp-id in such instances as we really dont know the remote Application Identifier....??
