There's no such mechanism that inheres in basic 3261 SIP per se. A common feature of endpoints that also receive media is to time out calls after no RTP has been received for a certain number of seconds. A purely SIP solution is to use session timers, but not all endpoints support them; take a look at RFC 4028. -- Alex Balashov - Principal Evariste Systems LLC 1170 Peachtree Street 12th Floor, Suite 1200 Atlanta, GA 30309 Tel: +1-678-954-0670 Fax: +1-404-961-1892 Web: http://www.evaristesys.com/ _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
