Hi,
As per RFC3680,UE once registered, it cansubscribe for registration events and
get the notifications for registrations.
I need to clarify, how the registration and subscription are associated i.e.
Lets say User 'A' registers its aor i.e. SIP URI (sip:[email protected]) and
contact 'X' with the registrar.
and User 'A' wants to subscribe for this registration as per RFC 3680.
Now what would go in SUBSCRIBE message to relate/associate this subscription
with above registration.
Is it associated based on registration dialog-id or call-id?? if so,
SUBSCRIBE should have the same dialog-id(To,From,call-id) as registration ??
or is there's some other mechanism to related this subscription with
registration.
I need clarification pertaining the UE(subscriber) behavior on receiving
Notify
1. UE received a Notify with "expired" or "rejected" event : - what action UE
needs to perform here..UE should unregister and terminate the subscription or
something else ??
2. UE received a Notify with "deactivated" event :- what should be UE
(subscriber) behavior here ?
whether it should re-register w/o terminating the subscription or it
should unregister and terminate the subscription or something else. please
clarify.
