Hi all,

Is it OK to send unreliable provisional response, while waiting for
PRACK for a already sent

provisional response?? According to RFC 3262, it has been explicitly
mentioned that reliable provisional response should not be sent, while
waiting for PRACK for a already sent provisional response.

Please clarify.

Thanks,

kumar

Extract from RFC:

After the first reliable provisional response for a request has been

acknowledged, the UAS MAY send additional reliable provisional

responses. The UAS MUST NOT send a second reliable provisional

response until the first is acknowledged.
