Hi
Refer RFC 3261 7.3.1 Header Field Format When comparing header fields, field names are always case- insensitive. Unless otherwise stated in the definition of a particular header field, field values, parameter names, and parameter values are case-insensitive. Tokens are always case-insensitive. Unless specified otherwise, values expressed as quoted strings are case-sensitive Regards, Tarun Gupta -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Evgeniy Khramtsov Sent: Thursday, March 10, 2011 9:06 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Sip-implementors] Is uri case insensitive in WWW/Proxy-Authorization? From the RFC (3261 and 2617) it is unclear for me whether the "uri" parameter (aka digest-uri) in the WWW-Authorization or Proxy-Authorization header is case-insensitive or not. For instance, are URIs uri="sip:user@domain" and uri="sip:USER@domain" equal or not? <http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2617> -- Regards, Evgeniy Khramtsov, ProcessOne. xmpp:[email protected]. _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors ________________________________ "DISCLAIMER: This message is proprietary to Aricent and is intended solely for the use of the individual to whom it is addressed.
