Hi, I have a query regarding the 486 Busy Here Message.
Following is the scenario: A and B are the proxy servers A1 is a phone on A and B1 and B2 and phones on B. A1 and B1 are on a call. During the call A1 sends a REFER message to Proxy B which Refers to B2. Proxy B sends a 202 Accepted to A1 Proxy B sends an INVITE to B2. B2 unfortunately is busy on another call and replies back with a 486 Busy Here. Proxy B receives the 486 Busy Here. Now my question: Can we tandem this "486 Busy Here" message received from B2 to B1. Is this acceptable according to the standards? Because B1 does not know yet that that B has received a REFER message and sent an INVITE to B2. As it is on a successfull call now, can we send a 486 Busy Here message to it in between. Please let me know if you need any more information.
