Hi Marius, the above text just means that, in case of sending an OPTIONS in-dialog within an INVITE dialog, and not receiving a correct response for such OPTIONS (i.e: 500. 503, 481, 408...) the failure of the OPTIONS transaction should not trigger the termination of the INVITE dialog bu the UAC. > Various threads seem to suggest that a 200 OK(or whatever answer is > appropriate if the OPTIONS is outside of an known dialog) might also be > a good answer. Do you mean a 200 OK for a OPTIONS with To-tag non belonging to an existing dialog? In that case it's much better to reply 481 as you say above.
