Hi Vineet, We came across a scenario on year 2008/9 where the custom sip header was restricted on a transferred call. But at present I don't have the reference to share with you. Recently we are able to send and receive the custom sip headers in an environment. In general the proxies should allow the custom sip headers. When compared to 10 years before we have lot of sip servers available in the market. I thought something is happening on the sip security side where in the server can allow/restrict the custom sip headers. Just want to share my views. If it's not then kindly leave it. Hi Mahudeswaran, Doesn't SIP recommends all proxies to make the custom headers pass i.e headers which proxies cannot understand!! I have read it a couple of reputed papers where the authors have implemented their custom enhancement to SIP using custom headers.
