Hi Arun

100% compliance to a specification is probably a myth. A product can claim
compliance to a specification, interoperability is definitely required to
corroborate the compliance. Also, at times for commercial reasons, successful
interoperability with a well known server takes precedence over specification
compliance.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] Interoperability and conformance testing

Hi All,

If two products are 100% compliant to any specification, for e.g; rfc 3261,
then is the Interoperability testing required for these two products?

Thanks
Arun
