Hi This question is related to BGCF in IMS networks. I am confused with scenarios where IMS network has to route calls towards CS in a different network.
My understanding: If the target network is also an IMS network, then BGCF will route the call to I-CSCF of the target network & in turn the target network will take care of the routing via it's own MGCF. If the target network is a pure CS network then BGCF will route the call via it's MGC in it's own network to the Signaling gateway of target network. Is my understanding given above correct? Also, is there any scenario in which BGCF can route a call to BGCF of some other network? If so, how would the call flow be like.
