If you want to reject video (but answer audio), see RFC 3264. You can use port 0.
If you want to reject the INVITE, send 488 (or 606) with Warning header (code 304); see RFC 3261. I also think that there is an RFC which allows the caller to request that the called not answer unless able to answer specific offered media (such as both audio and video); however I don't recall which RFC. > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:sip- > [email protected]] On Behalf Of Jing Jiang > Sent: Monday, April 15, 2013 12:17 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [Sip-implementors] how to respond to a SDP offer including > unsuported media type > > An endpoint receives an invite including audio and video offer, but the > endpoint has no video capability. RFC 6337 talks about behavior on receiving SDP with c=0.0.0.0. > Is it the RFC to follow? _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list [email protected] https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
