Hi,
Can someone point me to references which describe how a SIP auto-attendant
(IVR) must behave in various scenarios?

For example when a user calls the auto-attendant and asks to transfer to
another extension. This extension doesn't asnwer and hangs because of no
answer. Now should the call return back to the auto-attendant or hang up?

Are there any guidelines (RFCs) for this? Or is it entirely left to the
developer?
