Hi

Queries related to Register can be answered by looking at Chapter 10 of RFC
3261.

3rd party Registration as the name suggests is Registration on somebody else's
behalf by an authorized 3rd party. In such cases, the 'To' contains the AOR to
be registered and the 'From' contains the 3rd party entity that is registering
on someone else's behalf.

Example of 3rd party registration :- In an IMS network, on successful
registration of the UE with the network, the S-CSCF sends a 3rd party
registration to the AS(s) which are interested to be informed about the user
registration event of the subscriber. This usually triggers services to be
executed by an AS. You can refer IMS specifications for further details on this
procedure.
