HI Aditya What i understood from your question is that there are 3 m lines of same type audio in Offer . Each m line having one codec c1 ,c2 ,c3 corresponding to m1,m2,m3 .
Now answer must have same no of m lines And each M line will have its attribute and diff direction attribute also possible. RFC 3264 talked about this : A typical usage example for multiple media streams of the same type is a pre-paid calling card application, where the user can press and hold the pound ("#") key at any time during a call to hangup and make a new call on the same card. This requires media from the user to two destinations - the remote gateway, and the DTMF processing application which looks for the pound. This could be accomplished with two media streams, one sendrecv to the gateway, and the other sendonly (from the perspective of the user) to the DTMF application Thanks & regards Ankur Bansal On Sun, Mar 9, 2014 at 12:27 PM, Aditya Kumar <adityakumar...@yahoo.com>wrote: > HI, > If a user gives offer with c1,c2,c3 codec's (m lines). > can the answer be with c2,c3 mlines and followed by a lines. > like: c2-sendonly c3- sendrecv? > > I am asking from a Voice Call perceptive. > I am looking how we can have multiple m lines in response with > different directional attribute. > > > -Adi > _______________________________________________ > Sip-implementors mailing list > Sip-implementors@lists.cs.columbia.edu > https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors > _______________________________________________ Sip-implementors mailing list Sip-implementors@lists.cs.columbia.edu https://lists.cs.columbia.edu/cucslists/listinfo/sip-implementors
