Indeed, it is well-known that having multiple transactions in progress at the same time is value (though uncommon) -- except if there is a specific requirement that forbids a particular usage. It seems to me that the proper way to handle this is to ask the maker of the SBC for the reference that shows that your usage is incorrect.
